Step 1: Lets Decarb a little bit of Bud- Welcome!!!
Welcome everyone!
So lets get into this recipe. Now if you missed the intro video please feel free to check out The welcome video we posted on that little blue app yesterday. I am going to drop a recipe but I am also going to give some information that I have had to figure out on my own over the years and I honestly just don't want y'all to waste products like I did. Also, you will get a few laughs from the dumb things I have done over the years so sit back and lets have a great time.
Decarbing your cannabis is a crucial step when using it for food. I don't care what anyone says. If you miss this step throw the whole edible away please cause its only going to piss you off. Which brings me to my first tip: Don't do this without a timer or while being high. Its so easy to burn the flower and that is just not what we want cause cannabis is expensive, OK!!. Speaking of it being expensive just a little guidance, don't let anyone let you feel guilty for anything you enjoy responsibly. If you partake regularly let it work for you. put up five to ten dollars anytime you can until you get to the price of an ounce. Take that money and open a secured credit card. Find a plug that accepts mobile payment. BUY YOUR WEED BABY! Have the card paid off or down to 3-5% before the statement date each month and watch your credit build. You grown right? OK, this is what grown people do. We take our daily pleasures and use them to fuel our credit score.
Now back to the recipe. See told you guys the blog had gems. As far as materials are concerned you want an oven of course (or air fryer (the model I use) that's a recipe for another day), oven mitts , 7 to 14 grams of a good flower. What kind? Do your research. When I am making things for daily consumption, I go with something like a Purple Runtz. It has a THC content of about 14% with and even balance of CBD so it comes smooth and subtle depending on the dose and I can get more done in the day.
When I want to sit DOWN I go for something in the Zkittlez category. I use a lot of different strains. Honestly Some days I just walk into a store and see what's good to buy what I need and go from there. You can't do this with everyone so make sure whoever you are buying from has an understanding of what they are selling you. Cause why are you just spending your hard on money on just anything boo?
Preheat your oven to 230 degrees. I know a lot of sites will say 250 but we are using the canning jar method with smaller amounts of cannabis and once again we do not want to burn the bud. While in the oven at 230 degrees for one hour we are going to let that sit in the oven on the towel and baking sheet to do its thing. Every 15 minutes you wanna go it and give it a little shake just to make sure everything bakes easily. Now not all green is created equal. Some will be a brown color after this process and some will be a dark green. Trust me, everything is good. Allow this to cool for 30 minutes before taking any other steps. This is a critical point for our infusion process.
Now if you have never done this before, open the windows before you open the canning jar boo. This is going to be a different kind of smell. For a day to day stoner that smell is going to be your half way point to happiness. If you create a product that smells like money!!!!!! Decarb Cannabis is extremely potent as it is but now we need to remove the THC from the flower.
And that is a step you will need to come back for later in the week.... Like the way I did that? As always, I love you guys, thanks for the support. I will drop the ingredient/supply list for the next recipe (Cannabis infused coconut oil) like three days prior so we can do this together.
